PSYC 709F Child & Adolescent C/L Psychiatry


Credits: 4
The purpose of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry elective is for students to learn to assess children and adolescents with urgent psychiatric needs. Students will participate on daily rounds with the attending and fellow in Child Psychiatry on the Doernbecher Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service. Sites of care include the emergency department, pediatric inpatient unit, and the PICU. Students will also participate in outpatient consult cases.

Graded: Pass/No pass
May be taken only once for credit
