This course is designed to advance the skills and knowledge that are essential for excelling in contemporary and emerging healthcare roles. Students will explore core concepts of organizational systems leadership and quality improvement. Students will examine the role of nurses in shaping health policy, with a focus on designing policies that address health equity and system-level impact. The course also covers the professional aspects of advanced nursing roles, including leveraging of informatics and technology, legal responsibilities, and ethical considerations.
