PNP 760 Pediatric Clinical Simulated Experiences I Credits: 1 This second clinical simulation course builds on previous pediatrics clinical and didactic coursework and provides opportunities to enhance, integrate and apply knowledge and skills in the roles of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. A series of simulated clinical experiences are individualized to provide students with opportunities to build practical and theoretical depth with children and their caregivers across the health care continuum from wellness through acute and/or critical care. Students are expected to integrate knowledge of disease, advanced physiology and assessment, medical, nursing, and symptom management, in order to provide care across the population age span. Students will apply Pediatric Nurse Practitioner roles in the care of patients and families.
Graded: A-F May be taken only once for credit
