BMI 552B Research in Bioinformatics & Computational Biomedicine Credits: 1 The Research in Bioinformatics course is designed to give students (Masters, Ph.D., and fellows) a foundation in general research approaches with specific application to bioinformatics and medical informatics. This is the second of a two-part course which will focus on developing the critical thinking and evaluation skills necessary to be successful in this field. The emphasis this term will be on executing an informatics project and preparing a Specific Aims page using the skills developed during the first part of the course.
