BMI 652A Research in Bioinformatics & Computational Biomedicine Credits: 1 The Research in Bioinformatics course is designed to give students a foundation in general research approaches with specific application to bioinformatics, computational biology, and clinical informatics. This is the first in a two-part course, with the second part of the course being taken in the Spring. This course will focus on developing the critical thinking and evaluation skills necessary to be successful in the field. Special emphasis will be placed on critical evaluation of the literature, and preparing to do a project in the Spring term course.
