CPSY 650 Professional Development Seminar and Internship Preparation


Credits: 1
This course prepares late-stage doctoral students in clinical psychology for internship and future careers. Students are taught to develop a curriculum vitae, articulate a theoretical orientation and professional identity, and demonstrate strong interviewing skills. In addition, they are instructed in the process of obtaining an internship, assessing career options, negotiating effective supervision, and obtaining licensure and clinical practice issues.

Graded: Pass/No pass
