NUTN 514 Nutrition Research & Scientific Communication Credits: 3 The Nutrition Research course is a three credit hour course that provides an introduction to nutrition-based research including discussions of different types of research designs and their strengths and limitations, exploring a nutrition-related research question, conducting a critical review of the literature related to that research question, carrying out the analysis plan, and preparing a manuscript for publication of the results. Students work in teams to conduct various aspects of the research project centered on NHANES cross-sectional data.
