PAST 507A Electrocardiography Credits: 1 The purpose of this course is to introduce, define, describe and summarize information about the cardiac diagnostic tool known as the electrocardiogram (ECG). Each week the course focuses on key evaluative skills and associates them with characteristic physiologic and pathologic findings. The use of this diagnostic method in the care of patients is also discussed. At the end of this course students will have a broad foundational understanding of how to utilize and interpret a rhythm strip as well as a 12-Lead electrocardiogram.
Graded: Pass/No pass May be taken only once for credit
