PAST 577 Clinical Pharmacotherapeutics III Credits: 1 This is the third in a series of courses designed to provide a comprehensive study of clinical pharmacotherapeutics utilized across the human lifespan including prenatal, infant, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly. Emphasis will be on pharmacotherapeutics common to preventative, emergent, acute, chronic, and rehabilitative patient encounters. This is a 12-week course that is predominantly lecture and case-based. This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of clinical pharmacotherapeutics in the areas of Endocrinology, Reproductive health, Palliative and Hospice medicine, Musculoskeletal system, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, and Emergency Medicine.
Graded: Pass/No pass May be taken only once for credit
