Course Requirements

Students with an Earned M.S. in Medical Physics from OHSU:

• Medical Physics Coursework (61 cr.) - Up to 45 credits of previous M.S. in Medical Physics coursework can be applied to this requirement. The remaining credits of Medical Physics Coursework requirement may be fulfilled by MP 601 Research , MP 603 Dissertation , or other relevant coursework with program approval
• Research and Dissertation (74 cr.) - In addition to any Research and Dissertation credits completed in fulfillment of the Medical Physics Coursework requirement, students must complete an additional 74 credits of MP 601 Research  and MP 603 Dissertation 

Students without an Earned M.S. in Medical Physics from OHSU:

• Medical Physics Coursework (61 cr.) - Complete all requirements for the M.S. in Medical Physics
• Research and Dissertation (74 cr.) - Complete a total of 74 credits of MP 601 Research  and MP 603 Dissertation 

Non-course Requirements

• Qualifying examination
• Doctoral dissertation and defense
